The Philippine Councilors League (PCL), in partnership with Department of the Interior and Local Government launched the 2025 Local Legislative Award (LLA). Pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2025-062, the LLA honors the Sanggunians that demonstrate outstanding leadership in crafting legislative measures that strengthen the foundation of meaningful local administration and development.

The 2025 LLA Regional awardees in their respective categories are as follows:

• Highly Urbanized City: Lucena City

• Component City: City of Santa Rosa, Laguna

• 1st–3rd Class Municipality: Candelaria, Quezon

• 4th–6th Class Municipality: Agoncillo, Batangas
