Upcoming Construction of the Barigon-Bilibinwang Farm-to-Market Road

 IN PHOTOS: The DA-PRDP and the local government of Agoncillo, Batangas held a conference on the upcoming construction of the Barigon-Bilibinwang farm-to-market road to ensure that its implementation will comply with the DA-PRDP implementation guidelines for infrastructure development. The conference was attended by the PRDP Project Support Office South Luzon, PRDP Regional Project Coordination Office CALABARZON, Agoncillo LGU representatives led by Mayor Cinderella Valenton-Reyes and Vice Mayor Daniel Reyes, barangay LGUs of Barigon and Bilibinwang, and the contractor who will take on the subproject.

The 4km-FMR, jointly funded by the DA-PRDP and the LGU, will connect barangays Barigon and Bilibinwang to Laurel, Batangas and Cavite. It aims to increase farm production in the area by converting up to 70 hectares of undeveloped land to agricultural lands.
